Mike Gibson - the biggest player ever

Mike Gibson is a player who still holds the record for the heaviest NFL player weighing over 440 lbs and 410 Ibs in high school. Mike is a former football guard who was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the sixth round of the NFL Draft. Before that, he played college football in California. He also played for the Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks. Mike played football at Napa High School where he was named Second Team All-State and Monticello Lineman of the Year.

After high school, he played football for Solano Community College where he was All American and All Bay Valley. In 2006 Mike moved to the University of California and All Pacific-10 in final year. Mike was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2008, but during the preseason that same year, he suffered a shoulder injury and spent the rest of the year on the bench with other injured players.

In 2009 Mike moved to the Seattle Seahawks, and in his first NFL game, he played on the 20th of December against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Mike started playing for Seattle in the game during the opening season of 2010 but was later re-signed to the practice squad. In October 2010 Mike was promoted to the active roster because he played 14 games during the season. He also started the NFC wild-card playoff game against New Orleans.
