Eiffel Tower - one of greatest landmarks

Gustave Eiffel asked the designer for an apartment on the third floor, for private purposes. Thomas Edison was once in that apartment, which is today open to the public. At first, the tower had a reddish-brown hue. It was later painted yellow. Today, the tower has three shades of brown, and the higher you climb, the brighter the colors.

Empire State Building

Are you familiar with the tower at the top of the building? It is this tower that should be the point for airships. However, in the end, only one ship landed on that place on the once tallest building. On the 103rd floor, there is a secret observatory. Furthermore, to access it you have to climb a narrow staircase. However, the observatory is not open to the public, although many celebrities have been photographed there.

Mount Rushmore is a massive sculpture from South Dakota. It exists since 1941 and depicts American presidents. For example Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington. However, this great building has one secret.

Behind Lincoln's head is a secret door. Behind the door is a room that is difficult to reach on foot and which is why few people visited it. A copy of the Declaration of Independence is in that very room.

Greatest Landmarks - Pisa Tower

The free-standing bell tower of the cathedral has a four-degree slope, due to its unstable foundations. Mussolini tried to straighten the tower by drilling holes in the base and filling them with cement. However, the tower tilted even more. Did you know that one of the bell towers hides a dark secret? In other words, one of the bell towers marked the execution of the traitor. Today this bell has another name, and that is San Ranieri.
