Rugby will never again be the same

Soon we will see the transformation of rugby. They are bringing a series of new laws which will transform rugby. During the next 12 months, those changes will be introduced worldwide. The only exception is a red card rule, which will become active this weekend.

Those rules will bring a radical change. Maybe those changes will be very strange for all of us, but we will need to get used to those rules. Those rules will change everything on the international and domestic levels.

Some of the changes will be in the 50:22, goal-line drop-out, flying wedge, one player pre-latched, cleanout and jackal safety, red card rule. We all know how the 50:22 rule works. The main goal of these changes is to put more players in the back-field. They will have better coverage in the 50:22 line and in the same way we will see more attacking space. This could be a very good thing for all players.

As we mentioned already, the red card rule will be active this weekend. We know that if someone gets the red car, another player can replace him after 20 minutes. However, the other rules will be spread worldwide, the red card will apply only in the Rugby Championship.

Many teams are happy with this change, because now they will not be without a player for the whole game, but with this change, they will be only without a player for 20 minutes. We can say that this is one good rule because now the teams will have a chance to be equal.
