Lahore and Karachi hosting 7 England T20Is

The Pakistan Cricket Board decided that they will use only two to three major venues for the seven-match T20 international series against England. The series is scheduled just before World Cup in Australia. The PCB initially wanted to hold the matches at more venues, including the smaller international ones such as Faisalabad and Multan but now, they dropped the plan completely.

He confirmed that the tentative draft of venues and dates was sent to the English Cricket Board, while PCB is still expecting a visit by the ECB delegation between July and August. So far, the dates for probation are between September 15 and October 2. Karachi and Lahore are so far two main venues for the series, while Rawalpindi was also added as a backup.

With England coming to Pakistan after 17 years, there are giant crowds expected, even in Karachi and Lahore for all matches. Apparently, PCB has made up their mind to host the three-match Test match series against England, after the T20 World cup in November, during the smaller venues such as Multan and Faisalabad.
