Luka Doncic sued his mother

Accordingly, for some information, Luka Doncic submitted a request to the Patent and Stamp Office in the USA in which he asks to cancel the registration of the trademark Luka Doncic 7. This brand was owned by his mother Mirjam Poterbin. He is growing every day, and for that reason, it’s very important to control his own brand.

Luka wanted to register his brand under the name Luka Doncic, but this wasn’t possible because there is already a brand-named Luka Doncic 7. And his mother doesn’t want to cancel this brand. In the lawsuit, Doncic claims that he is not associated with that brand and that he does not approve of putting products and services on the market under that name. Also, he hasn’t connected anymore with the brand LD77 and the web page lukadoncic.com.

According to the Public Records Agency, these companies are jointly managed by his mother Mirjam Poterbin, and director Boris Pozeg. This news was also confirmed by the Brown Rudnik legal office, which represents Luka Doncic. The Slovenian basketball player had a deadline to file the lawsuit, which happened on the last day of the deadline.
