The survey revealed who are the worst drivers in Europe
The results of the research are, worrying. Of all respondents, as many as 79 percent had a negative attitude about fellow drivers. In the UK, a quarter of respondents said that completely different people are behind the wheel, but the attitude of Greeks about drivers from other countries is completely unbelievable.
You’ve probably been in a foreign country and decided to take rent a car and went on a research trip. Well, we assume that it caused you some stress because in each country you drive differently, there are some other rules, and the worst of all is of course - a completely new driving culture.
But have you ever, and certainly had, wondered in which country drivers are the worst? A survey commissioned by France’s largest motorway concessionaire, Vinci Autoroutes, provided the answer to that question. The survey surveyed 12,400 Europeans from 11 countries, who answered how they experience their driving, the driving of their compatriots, and the driving of other inhabitants of the old continent.
The results of the research are, to say the least, worrying. As many as 91 percent of Greeks expressed a negative attitude, but they are also critical of their compatriots, so Greece recorded the worst results in the survey. Swearing, trumpeting, talking on a cell phone while driving, and even getting out of the car in a desire for a showdown. If we ask Greeks, their compatriots do those things every day. So, be careful if you plan to drive on Greek roads this summer.
However, we can’t say that everything is so bad. Spaniards and the British people don’t talk bad things about drivers in their countries. If we ask them only a small amount of people don’t have good driving skills.
