Former Italian representative fell from a great hight

Alessandro Gentile (30), a highly gifted Italian basketball player, with a peculiar life outside of the basketball field, had an accident while he was on vacation in Palma de Mallorca. Namely, he was on the vacation with his brother, also a basketball player, Stefano.

They both climbed on a wooden structure at a height of four meters. This construction broke, and Gentile fell. His back hurt, and he was immediately hospitalized, and then transported to Naples, where he will undergo surgery.

The Italian media claim that there was no need to speculate about the end of his career, but in any case, Gentile is waiting for a long recovery. Last season Alessandro Gentile played for Brindisi, and before that he was a player for Varese, Estudiantes, Trento, Virtus, Hapoel Jerusalem, Panathinaikos, Milan, and Benetton. What is more important, he was also a member of the Italian national team.
